Im not sure if it work with OS X Lion but I can test it out for you. I know for sure it works for OS X Snow Leopard because that is what Im using it with. I have OS X Lion on my iMac but never tried playing it on it. I can give it a go a little later on today and get back to you. I will edit this answer once I give it a try.
Yes! It works perfectly!!! And the cord is a good length. I need to get a second one so I can play head to head with people
I tried in these setups and every one of them worked correctly:- Windows 7 with Snes9x - Mac Os Mavericks with OpenEmu - Raspberry Pi with Retropie 2.6
Yes, if not 9 it is close to it. Its long enough to where I can sit a few feet away from my laptop and still have enough slack to not pull it from the port.
Your emulator should have an input mapping feature that you can use to calibrate towards.
Im sure you can but I wouldnt advise getting his controller. It didnt work at all when I ordered it. I now use a wired PS3 controller on my pc and it does the job way better
